A Gym That Fits All
1. Membership Types & Payments
- All memberships are based on a rolling monthly contract unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is taken via Direct Debit each month on the date your membership starts.
- You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid.
- Any failed payments may result in suspension of access until payments are brought up to date.
- You’ll only be able to use the gym if your membership is active and fully paid, or if you've made alternative arrangements that have been agreed by the gym.
Fees:
- Our fees are set by the EmpoweredFIT team and reviewed periodically.
- We reserve the right to update fees, but your monthly fee won’t increase during any agreed commitment period.
- If we do need to change your fee, you’ll get at least 30 days’ written notice.
- Your membership fee depends on the type and category of membership selected.
- A joining fee may apply, as outlined during sign-up — this helps the gym cover admin and onboarding costs.
- If a payment remains unpaid for 30 days past the due date, the full membership amount for the remaining term may become due immediately.
2. Cancellation Policy
- You can cancel your membership at any time with a minimum of 5 working days’ notice before your next payment date. If you cancel within this period, it is highly likely your direct debit payment will still be called for and still processed. You will not be eligible for a refund if this is the case.
- Once cancelled, your access continues until the end of your paid period.
- No partial refunds will be issued for unused days or missed visits.
3. Freezing Your Membership
- You can freeze your membership for up to 12 months at a time.
- Freeze requests must be made via our EmpoweredFIT App and at least 5 working days before your next payment.
- Freeze requests made within 5 working days of payment collection will still be charged, and no refunds will be issued for the upcoming month.
4. Access & Bookings
- Access is via app-generated QR code. Fobs are available for those who require them in special circumstances.
- You must be 16 years or older to train unsupervised.
- Members aged 14–15 may train with a supervising parent or guardian present at all times.
- Individuals under the age of 14 are not permitted access to gym facilities.
5. Health & Safety
- All members must complete a health declaration (PAR-Q) within 3 months of joining.
- Failure to do so within the timeframe will result in denied access until completed.
- You train at your own risk. Please work within your limits and ask for guidance if needed.
- In the case of injury, illness or pregnancy, consult your GP before returning to exercise.
- Report any broken or faulty equipment to staff straight away.
6. Termination of Membership
EmpoweredFIT reserves the right to terminate your membership immediately and without notice in the following cases:
- If you seriously or repeatedly break the terms of this agreement or our Code of Conduct.
- If any membership fees remain unpaid for more than 30 days.
- If you gave false information during sign-up that would’ve changed our decision to grant membership.
- Attempt to have anyone other than yourself use your membership.
7. Liability & Personal Belongings
- You are responsible for your own safety while training.
- EmpoweredFIT accepts no liability for personal injury sustained whilst using our facilities, except where such injury is caused by the gym’s negligence.
- Lockers are available – we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
8. Photos, Videos & Marketing
- We occasionally take photos or videos during events and classes.
- Let the gym know if you don’t want to be featured – we respect your privacy.
- We will never tag or publish content without your permission.

10. Dispute Resolution
If you have any concerns, issues, or disputes, please contact the gym directly at info@empoweredfit.uk. We aim to resolve matters fairly and quickly.
